On July 23 2009, the day after the Lough Erne Challenge when Rory McIlroy will play against Padraig Harrington at the stunning Lough Erne Resort, Rory will be playing with the winning bidder for a three ball round on the magnificent Faldo Course.

The Greenkeeper's son at Holywood golf club, Rory's home golf club has a very rare Epilepsy condition. At the age of 3 years old Carter Buchanan suffers from up to 20 seizures per day. He has recently been receiving some treatment at the Chicago Children's hospital in the US, and they have worked hard to reduce the seizures down to 3 per day.

This situation is very close to Rory's heart and he wants to give the family the opportunity to continue Carter's treatment over in the US.

Between Saturday, June 27th and Tuesday, July 14th we will be giving you the opportunity to bid for a three ball 18 hole game with Rory at The Lough Erne Golf Resort. The package will include:
  • Three spots in a foursome with Rory Mcilroy on July 23, 2009.
  • Accommodation at the Lough Erne Golf Resort
  • 3 tickets for the Lough Erne Challenge on July 22, 2009 featuring a much-awaited match between Rory Mcilroy and three-time major champion Padraig Harrington.
  • An assortment of Titleist goodies.
The highest bid will be confirmed and the winner and two people of his/her choice will be walking the fairways of the magnificent Lough Erne Golf Resort with Rory himself.
